If your production line handles flat or oval heating elements, you already know standard round-tube mills won’t cut it. This machine is built specifically for that job. A vertical roll setup, rather than the round-tube X configuration, guides your element precisely through every pass, tightening the diameter while boosting internal oxide density. The result: a stronger, higher-performing element ready for the next stage of your line.
Need to switch cross-sections? The quick-change head gets you back up and running in about 45 minutes, so changeovers stop eating into your production schedule.
The tangible benefits that make a difference

Flat and oval sections need a different approach than round tubes, and that’s exactly what this mill delivers. The dedicated outlet guide keeps your element tracking precisely through the full rolling pass, so you get consistent results even on tricky cross-sections.

As the mill reduces your element’s diameter, it also increases the density of the internal magnesium oxide. That’s not a side effect, it’s the point: higher oxide density translates directly into better performance and a longer service life for the finished heating element.

Running multiple heating element sizes on one line? The quick-change head swaps out in roughly 45 minutes flat. Less downtime, more flexibility, and one machine that adapts to your production mix instead of the other way around.
Your heating element enters through a dedicated guide that locks in correct positioning from the first pass. From there, it moves through four roll pairs, each with its own rolling profile, gradually bringing the diameter down without overstressing the part. That gradual approach is what drives up internal oxide density and gives you a more durable, higher-performing element on the other end.
The vertical roll layout, built specifically for flat and oval sections, keeps your element aligned and guided the entire way through, so you get uniform results even on non-standard shapes.
Once the element exits the rolls, a 4-roll adjustable straightening unit corrects any bowing picked up during rolling. An extraction unit then clears the element fully from the head, keeping the line moving without interference from the next piece coming through.
